Who I Am
Hi I'm Ishaan, a computer science student at USYD pursuing a Bachelor of Advanced Computing. I build things that close the gap between prototype and production. I believe in fast execution and software that works in the world, not just in demos.
I've shipped an offline neural network that diagnoses crop disease in 150ms on a microcontroller with no cloud, no internet and no excuses. I've built systems where a QR scan becomes a live map pin in under 10 seconds helping university campuses. I think in systems, own every layer, and don't stop at "good enough" if you can climb even more.
I also tutor Mathematics up to HSC because of my passion for the subject. I love researching and understanding it similar to technology. I believe in execution: ideas are there, but it's a matter of who does it better in the world.

Spore Scout
Offline-first Android app for real-time crop disease detection. No internet required — built for the field, not the lab. Won 1st place competing against 200+ teams at the Canva × USYD CommStem Hackathon 2025.
QuickFix QR
Real-time campus fault-reporting platform. QR scan → live map pin in under 10 seconds. Built with serverless architecture and real-time WebSocket subscriptions.

Built and shipped a first-year resource hub and events registration feature (Next.js / React), increasing community page traffic and reducing onboarding friction for new members.
Prototyping a webhook-driven events calendar that auto-syncs the SUDATA Notion workspace to a public iCal feed, eliminating redundant manual updates.

Coordinated logistics and execution of academic and networking events with 50+ attendees, including weekly guest lectures (featuring Eddie Woo) and technical sessions.
Collaborated with other societies to organise panel events and streamline operations, improving participation and engagement across the student community.
